Website maintenance

Website maintenance that keeps the business information current.

Willfully Digital handles hosting, security, backups, software updates, analytics, forms, and routine content changes for the websites on our monthly plans.

The job of this service

Technical care and business updates in the same service

Maintenance is more than installing updates. The website needs to keep working, but it also needs to keep describing the current business. Our plans cover both sides of that job.

01

Technical maintenance protects the working site

We manage hosting, SSL, backups, platform security updates, deployment, and the technical services used by the website. Updates are checked against the live design and forms rather than applied without looking at the result.

Contact paths receive particular attention. A form that appears to submit but never delivers can remain unnoticed. Analytics, error logs, form tests, and routine reviews help find failures that are otherwise quiet.

02

Content maintenance keeps the website accurate

Routine edits include changes to copy, hours, photos, staff, services, prices, and seasonal information. Most requests are completed within one business day. Ordinary requests do not wait longer than 72 hours.

A new service page, a new section of the site, an integration, or a redesign is larger project work. We identify that boundary and provide the price before the work begins.

03

SEO and schema need maintenance too

A service change may affect page titles, descriptions, internal links, navigation, sitemap entries, schema, and the Google Business Profile. Updating only the visible paragraph can leave the search and structured data layers behind.

We keep those connected pieces aligned. The work may include correcting broken links, refreshing a service relationship, validating schema, reviewing indexation, or updating the location and service information used across the site.

04

How requests and reporting are handled

Routine change requests can be sent by email. During setup, we agree what your reporting will measure and how you will receive it. Reporting begins after the agreed tracking is connected and checked.

Website visits, submitted forms, and phone-link clicks show different activity. A phone-link click does not confirm that a call was completed. We explain what each measure records without turning it into a guaranteed lead count.

Questions

What owners usually want clarified.

What counts as a routine change?

Edits to existing wording, hours, photos, staff, services, prices, and seasonal information are routine. A substantial new page, integration, redesign, or new site function is project work.

How quickly are changes completed?

Most routine requests are completed within one business day during normal operating hours. Ordinary requests do not wait longer than 72 hours.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Sometimes. We inspect the platform, hosting, access, plugins, code quality, and current condition before accepting responsibility for an existing site.

Does maintenance include SEO?

The website plans include ongoing care for the SEO and schema foundation already built into the site. A larger content or authority campaign may require separate scope.

Let us review the public work before we meet.

We look at the website, Google Business Profile, search presence, and visible marketing first. You receive the priority list after the conversation.
